Ltd (QPOC) Location : Yellow Sea Offshore Qingdao Date of Application : 20^th Sept – 25^th Sept 2003 The Challenge: China Petroleum Corporation (CPC) maintains a number of shallow water satellite platform offshore Qingdao in the Yellow Sea area. As part of maintenance requirement, they had to re-coat all the submerged and splash zone area to combat corrosion. Solution: Corroserv (M) Sdn Bhd supplied Corro-Dur 561 SW and mobilised our personnel to train QPOC personnel to apply the Corro-Dur 561 SW with a twin feed plural component application system for this specific project. Result: Qingdao Pacific Oceaneering Co (QPOC) has been confirmed for the remaining platforms to be re-coated after the winter season in the area around the Yellow Sea.
